There’s no such thing as an “easy” movie to make.
If you’ve been fortunate enough to see what happens in a proper film production, you’ll quickly come to realize every single person out there is on the verge of having a heart attack. The fact of the matter is it doesn’t matter how much preparation or budget goes into a movie; it won’t be easy. Unexpected time constraints, studio interference, accidents on set, mutinous crew members, troublesome/unwilling actors, and even death threats can find their way into even the most professional productions.
Believe it or not, there are literally hundreds of examples of disastrous productionsThis time, I want to focus exclusively on those “hell on Earth” examples that ended up producing legendary work. This is in case that for those who didn’t know this appreciate these movies a lot more. Or at the very least, think of this article as an exercise of gratitude. We all certainly could use a little more of that right now.
