5 good games to enjoy the holidays with the family
Video games are a surprisingly fun alternative to keep your family from talking politics at Christmas dinner.
Every family is different and nowhere is this more apparent than during winter holidays. The way your family enjoys the holiday season depends enormously on your location, your heritage, your budget and how unbearable your relatives can get with a bit of wine in their system.
Certainly, that difference shows even further when you analyze the traditions each household chooses to honor during these times. But I don’t care how big, fun-loving and spontaneous your family is, at one point you WILL get bored. After all, there is just so much family-friendly conversation we all can have before considering cutting our throats with a half-eaten turkey wing.
Now, the common strategy used to battle boredom during holidays is the easy and comfortable alternative of playing a random Christmas movie while everyone stares at the screen awkwardly.
While it might be somewhat effective, I daresay there is an even better alternative to this. Something that can inspire a little bit of friendly competition within your family. Of course, I’m talking about video games.
