The evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series since it arrived back in 1997 (embrace being old with me) has been truly staggering. From a bird-view platform where we could fulfill our dream of endlessly burping and farting unsuspecting pedestrians; all the way to a proper sandbox of uncanny and frankly disturbing similarities to “real life”.
