5 Movies Which Aren’t Cult Classics But Should Be

These movies aren’t failures. They’re just misunderstood.

Describing a film as a “cult classic” is dangerous. There is no better way to incite the wrath of cinephile nerds than ascribing such a prestigious title to an “unworthy” movie.

But I care not about such triviality.

Instead, I’m going to mention 5 films, which for some reason we will probably never understand, haven’t cemented themselves in people’s psyche as “must watch classics”. It might be bad luck or it might be bad timing. But it won’t be because they suck.

There is no particular rule here with the exception that all these selections have to be older than Billie Eilish. So no films from 2002 or later. Anyway, let’s give it a go, shall we?
