Call of Duty Infinite Warfare: when COD changed forever
Call of Duty goes futuristic for the first time! But was that a good move, though? Should you try it? I’ll tell you without any spoilers!
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will always stand out in the franchise for two very simple reasons. This isn’t only the first title made by Infinity Warfare in three years (which is a big fucking deal considering they also made the most successful Call of Duty of all time). It also is the very first time the franchise decided to leave the realm of the “plausible” and into complete fantasy.
Infinite Warfare centers around a battle for complete control of the Solar System. Yup. You aren’t fighting in some dog trench in the middle of Germany in the 1940’s anymore. No, siree. This time you’re actually leaving Earth to fight anywhere from a cargo port in the Moon to the outer space near Pluto. Bonkers!
In the campaign you take control of Lieutenant Nick Reyes from the Special Combat Air Recon (SCAR) squad. Your objective is to dismantle the Settlement Defense Front or SDF for short.
Your enemy is guided by a charismatic leader and obviously way too handsome, Admiral Salen Kotch…
