I find it baffling that a director so focused on the visuals won't admit that 3D films have failed for a very good reason. It's so uncomfortable and annoying to have those stupid plastic glasses getting fogged up every 5 seconds just to have certain scenes look slightly "cooler". It makes no sense to me at all why so many promote a technology which actively disrupts immersion.
