I think the fact we expect so little from these movies should be highlighted more often.

…i helms the action well enough, and all things considered, it’s a solidly entertaining piece of work. Not in the same league as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, but given the recent sense of superhero and particularly multiverse fatigue, it could have been a lot worse.
