One scene I have been thinking about constantly:

Elisabeth is about to go on a date with a man she's not even attracted too but she's so lonely she's willing to give it a chance. Yet, by the time she's done with her makeup and everything, she's so depressed about how she looks, she ends up bailing out. It truly must be horrific for those people who have lived wonderful lives due to their good looks to lose them over the years. Such a tragic way of life.
