Only the production team in charge know why this movie costs what it does. You have really solid theories that could be related to all this. But frankly, I don't know who's right or wrong here.

My point still does stand, though. Movies are too expensive now. I'd prefer smaller more passionate projects by recognized directors than yet another cash grab, if you know what I mean.
