Ranking (some) of the most famous console controllers
From the ones I’ve played with, there is a clear winner.
Listen. I have been around. I know what it’s like to hold all kinds of console controllers in my hand. If I could declare myself an expert on something this and sabotaging my hopes and dreams are pretty leveled.
I have grasped extremely ergonomic controllers. But I also have held in my hands others that have felt as comfortable as dropping a bowling ball on your pinky toe. So without further ado, let’s rank controllers from consoles dating back to 1983 up to the most modern iterations. Let’s go.
•Nintendo Entertainment System
This is without a doubt the worst controller I’ve ever held in my entire life. I’ve had major operations that were more enjoyable than playing 20 minutes on the NES. Although the games were extremely fun to play and I still remember the major tunes from all those classics a long time ago, if I want to play them, I just do it on a PC. I would find more exciting to get 8 roundhouse kicks in the nuts than holding that controller ever again.
