Resident Evil 4 Remake looks great! Mostly…
Just three gripes on a mostly brilliant trailer.
Perhaps for some this following statement is close to heresy. But no matter. It’s the hard truth.
Resident Evil 4 DOES NOT need a remake.
Don’t get me wrong. The remake path sometimes might be the only sensible one to take. Particularly for those old as fuck games which look and play as smoothly as jamming your entire head into a wood cutter.
Sadly, Capcom knows that they could sell a game consisting of Leon throwing up on a baby’s face for three hours straight and it would sell millions of copies because it has the “Resident Evil 4” headline. So here we are.
I know that if you’re reading this you’ve already seen the trailer without a doubt. Anyway, here it is again in 4K resolution for a quick refresh.
Naturally, you might have noticed there’s not too much to comment here. Intelligently, Capcom have decided to leave out most of what the game is going to be like. I’d say they are testing the waters in one way or another.
