That's a great question considering people that love Rolex don't seem to agree.
Some prefer the "old day" Rolex. Vintage watches which were bulkier, less flashy and more purposeful. But another segment of their fanbase loves what they are doing now. Which means flashier pieces, typically with precious metals. Personally, I prefer older Rolex. I think the brand is too focused on creating pieces designed to be flexed. With the power they have they could be making really interesting stuff. But they just don't.
