All the timepieces you cannot miss from the second most important watch event from 2024
Geneva Watch Days is the second yearly opportunity major watch brands have to exhibit their most epic timepieces. As a watch nerd, the event is a delight by itself just to observe how creative the designers can be even if I can’t afford any of them under any circumstance. “You can look but you can’t touch” on a whole new level. It’s still fun just to look, though!
From the dozens of releases from 2024, I have selected the few I consider noteworthy enough to give a shoutout. You’ll notice a very curious trend involving gold as the main material as well as “vintage” looking aesthetics which seem to dominate in recent years. Could we be experiencing a new trend with classic dress watches in the future? I don’t think so but it definitely seems like more and more people are getting into them and I could not be happier. It’s time watch brands realize there’s more to life than yet another AP Royal Oak copy.
