The Sweet Baby Inc Controversy Explains (Partly) Why Video Games Studios Are Failing
An explanation as to why the video game art form could be headed towards a situation very similar to Hollywood: decay and disinterest.
Considering the deplorable, divisive and insufferable state of the modern world, I try to keep my blog focused on what I consider the positives regarding the film, video game and watch art forms. However, I’m afraid I cannot let this one slide. The Sweet Baby Inc controversy, whether we like it or not, concerns every single person out there who loves video games. It sets an irrefutable example of where the industry is headed and what might happen if the audience simply lets it slide.

Around early March of 2024, a relatively small Steam group called “Sweet Baby Inc Detected” was highlighted by Sweet Baby Inc employee Chris Kindred on Twitter (and no, I’m not calling Twitter what you want me to call it).
