There’s something wrong with Horizon Forbidden West
An isolated incident that shouldn’t happen from an otherwise tremendously fun game.
Before people come running at me with forks and AR-15’s in their hands, let me preface this by saying something crucial.
I’m LOVING Horizon Forbidden West. I haven’t finished yet but it has reminded me how much I love the original. One of the best RPG’s I have played in a long time, without a doubt.
Aloy is a fun, lovely redhead which you desperately want to know more about. She also happens to be as anti-social as a serial killer, so in my books that makes her extra likeable.
Graphically, the game presents you wild vistas with so much detail that puts the old game to shame. You really feel like you’re stepping into another dimension where mean machines try to kill you just for looking at them funny.
In terms of the story, it’s getting even wilder by the second. I’m loving all this Far Zenith turmoil while also learning more and more about the intricacies of the Zero Dawn Project and GAIA’s subordinate functions. The game has truly opened up a thousand questions that I can’t wait to get my answers.
