This might be somewhat tough for it to happen, though. Like what you posted earlier, girls tend to prefer "exciting" boys. And a long term nice chap usually doesn't scream excitement. It's a tough situation that keeps nice girls and boys who aren't too pretty or too exciting out of the game.
