Why you don’t need the Nintendo Switch OLED (and probably not the PRO either if it existed)

Your Switch is perfectly fine even though it could be better.

Since I am feeling a little ranty today, I wanted to share my passion on hating annoying and ultimately pointless corporate decisions. That’s why I thank Nintendo for launching the Switch OLED system a few days ago, a rumor that had been living in our minds for months.

As always when it comes to Nintendo, some people were disappointed with this release. Most of the times, I would blame it on Nintendo fanboys expecting way too much out of every single one of their announcements. Even so, in case you don’t know the specs by now, I made a table for you to realize just how awesome the “new” Nintendo Switch OLED is:

•7 inch screen vs 6.2 inch screen

•Wide adjustable stand vs shitty non-adjustable stand

•Enhanced audio vs… audio, I guess?

•Wired LAN port vs no wired LAN port

•350 dollars vs 300 dollars

•64GB of storage vs 32GB of storage

•720p resolution on an OLED screen vs 720p resolution on an LED screen
